About us
The Costs of Care Teaching Value Project is an initiative of Costs of Care that is funded by the ABIM Foundation. Increasingly, physicians, nurses and other caregivers are being called upon to improve the value of the care they are providing and to consider how their decisions impact what patients pay. Unfortunately, they often do not have the skills, training, or support to do so.
The Teaching Value Project team are a group of medical educators who believe it is time to change this. We are dedicated to transforming the American healthcare system by empowering cost-conscious caregivers to deflate medical bills and protect patients' wallets.
